Located at the southern tip of the island of Cebu, about 134.34 kms. from Cebu City. The municipality is bounded by the municipality of Oslob on the northeast, municipality of Samboan on the northwest; by Tañon Strait on the southwest; and by Cebu Strait on the southeast.
